mJams Exclusive with Ooredoo


mJams will revolutionise the way Myanmar listens to music with first-to-market music streaming app – only available with Ooredoo from 4 April 2016.


Thursday 31 March, 2016 (Yangon): mJams – Asia’s fastest growing music streaming app – is set to launch in Myanmar on 4 April 2016 exclusively on the Ooredoo network.


Following a successful launch in Cambodia, mJams will soon launch in Myanmar on the fastest 3G network – Ooredoo. mJams is a music streaming app that has been optimised for emerging markets, offering a convenient and high-quality way for smartphone users to enjoy the latest music. mJams will feature EXCLUSIVE international content from Universal Music Group as well as Sony and Warner Music, along with the most popular Myanmar artists, albums and tracks.


mJams will only be available for Ooredoo network users and will be downloadable through Ooredoo Zone and Google Play Store as a subscription-based service. Once downloaded, mJams will give users access to the world’s most popular songs, housed within a light interface that can easily be streamed straight from smartphones on Ooredoo’s 3G network, for a small weekly subscription fee of 600Ks, in addition to Ooredoo’s affordable Internet charges.


Myanmar’s best artists will be available on mJams, including Hlwan Paing, Po Po, Shwe Htoo, Zaw Paing and Wyne Su Khine Thein. These artists will live alongside the hottest international content from exclusive Universal Music Group artists such as Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Rhianna and Maroon 5.


Through real time data aggregation, mJams’ content is constantly optimised to reflect the trends and tastes of its users. With close partnerships with the Myanmar music industry, content providers and the Myanmar Music Association, mJams is committed to delivering new Myanmar artists, albums and tracks through the app each month, with the ultimate goal of hosting the nation’s hottest and most popular music, on demand.
